Loisach Stuben - Garmisch-Partenkirchen

This is the same restaurant as the Loisachstuben - one word. If somebody from Tripadvisor reads them they should combine.

It's summer, and you want to eat outside for lunch. You are in the center of town, and all the lunch places look a little too sunny, or too busy, or too touristy, or too ice-cream sundae-y. Then you turn the corner away from the center and go a stone's throw, and there is a patio with a few tables (ten four-tops?) with umbrellas and satisfied looking people enjoying lunch. Exactly what you want, salad or spaetzle or a small piece of fish, or schnitzel. Very nice, like it much better than the places right on the pedestrian street: a whole other experience.

Fantastic, authentic Bavarian cuisine. Excellent service. Warm and cosy wooden interior in a traditional setting.

Very friendly German restaurant. The atmosphere was good for a winters night with several larger groups and mostly couple. Had a couple of weisse beers, the leberkase and the strudel based off of recommendations from the waiter. A good night out.

Essen war durchweg in Ordnung. Portion war durchaus gut. Sehr freundlicher Service. Durchaus zu empfehlen.
