Kitchen Dé Richard - Gastonia

We had a wonderful experience at Webb Custom Kitchen during our second visit, just like our first. The atmosphere is comfortable and the dining room has a unique charm. The service was excellent, and the food was of the highest quality. We enjoyed every aspect of our meal, from the meatballs and Caesar salad to the steak and tuna entrees, finishing off with a delicious cheesecake for dessert. Even though we live in the Bahamas, we make it a point to visit a few times a year, and we won't miss any opportunity to return here!

That was just the beginning of our problems. There were too many issues to go into detail, so here’s a summary: the service was slow and disorganized, as the staff seemed more interested in talking about themselves than attending to our special occasion. We had to send two dishes back, and one plate was kept back “because it didn’t meet their standards,” yet it still arrived incorrectly. The fish was dry and bland, and all three tables next to us returned food that was either poorly prepared or incorrect, which was surprising given how wonderful the restaurant used to be. The venue itself is nice, but unfortunately, that’s the only thing left that feels special about this place.

Webb custom kitchen has phenomenal food and customer service. we visit all couple months child-free love every visit! our server was jamie tonight, she was phenomenal! love the balcony view service amazing eating!

Kelly C and Angel were our servers. There were 8 of us and the service was perfect. Friendly and upbeat, both girls were enjoyable. We all had a variety of meals. Florentine Benedict, Crepes and Medallions and Scones were a few favorites. Nice blood orange mimosas too. Desserts were shared and oh soooooo good. This is such a cool place. The gals explained the history of the building and the atmosphere was really cool. We will return another time for lunch or dinner when in the area.

Loved the Angry Lobster appetizer! Along with a couple of the artisan bread pieces and splitting an order of asparagus with my husband, it was the appropriate size for my dinner. Husband liked the Spiced Tuna which was a filet. Wonderful service from Hannah. Able to enjoy a leisurely dinner without being rushed. Valet parking was available.
