Angeethi - Gateshead

We used to frequent this restaurant years ago when it had a different name. We decided to revisit it recently and while the food was decent, the atmosphere was lacking in our opinion. The food is acceptable, but there is room for improvement in terms of ambiance.

We recently had the best Indian food we've had in a long time! The vegetarian dishes were outstanding, each bursting with unique flavors. We highly recommend this place!

Probably the best curry I've ever had. We've been a couple of times and everything has been spot on the food is delicious and the service flawless. Great value for money.

Love the Angeethi whether its a sit down or a take away the food is always fab. Particularly like the fish dishes The scallops are lovely. Great links with Kells Lane school too, inviting kids and parents along to find out about good indian cooking. FAB!!
