Mikes - Gatineau

We miss having a Mikes here in Ottawa and, after winning a gift certificate for Mikes, we went across the river to enjoy a very good meal. Our server was also very professional and efficient. The service was fast and the food tasty.

We went there for a birthday.It's a nice restaurant but the food was terribly salty.It Tasted like someone drop the salt shaker in the food

It is best known for an Italian restaurant but we discovered an excellent breakfast at a reasonable price. Many choices and good generous portions. Good friendly service.

Place was empty when we arrived. Maybe a bad sign to begin with.Staff were nice and seated us quickly.We were a group of 8.Then it started when the drinks arrived.Fountain soda were flat and colored water. Tried both Ginger Ale and Coke. Both flat.When the food arrived it was ok. Nothing special. We ordered the pizza / spaghetti dual plate but then I asked for Franks Red hot sauce.They informed me it would cost a dollar. Well, that just ruined it for me. Trying to charge for a basic condiment. Would be the same as charging for ketchup or mustard.Nothing left to say after that.On a final noteIn the end they did not charge for the fountain drinks so they at least did the right thing there.Don't think we will go back...

Good variety at very affordables prices. I tried many dishes over the last few years and was never disappointed. The service is fast and friendly,
