Calhoun's In Gatlinburg

We stopped by this restaurant after a long day of hiking and ordered some ribs. Overall, the ribs were very tasty, especially with the sauce, but they could be a bit more tender and come off the bone easily. The atmosphere and service were both excellent as well. It's a nice spot with comfortable seating, perfect for gathering with friends or family. Plus, the prices were reasonable. I would definitely recommend it!

This place was amazing! We went twice a day because it was so good. They had a special, that was steak on a kabob and it was the most amazing, juzt, tender steak I've ever eaten! We had also packed the brisket in bacon appetizer and it was very good. The fried fish and pig chop plate was one of the best we had in a long time. Calhouns is definitely a must!

I love Calhoun's. I first visited and really enjoyed the Knoxville riverside location so decided to try the Gatlinburg location while I was in the area. We were seated promptly and had a very nice server. We tried the bacon wrapped burnt ends as an appetizer and thought they were delicious. I like to try a bit of everything, so I ordered the sampler entree. It comes with ribs, pulled pork, and chicken tenders. I always get the spinach maria as my side, it's wonderful. My husband had the grilled pork chops and was very pleased with them. Overall another great meal at Calhoun's.

There wasn't anything on the menu that I didn't like! I had a hard time deciding what to order, so I ended up selecting several appetizers. The bacon-wrapped brisket was amazing! The beans were delicious, and the apples were also superb. My friend ordered some chicken tenders and fries; they really brought their A-game with those dishes. I even "borrowed" a salad from my mom, which was likely tossed with smoked chicken—also delicious! The food was fantastic, and the servers were attentive and friendly. They even surprised my mom with a birthday dessert. Overall, I had a wonderful experience!

They even provided complimentary cookies and bread rolls. The brisket was fantastic—perfectly cooked and not too lean. It's important to specify how you like your meat when ordering. The banana pudding was amazing and large enough to share with everyone at the table.
