Glades Homemade Candies - Gatlinburg

I'm not one for sweets but i fell in love with the peanut butter fudge and the chocolate covered ruffles. The staff was super nice and offered us a sample. You have to use cash only but there's an ATM inside. The sweets weren't that pricey and they weren't super pushy. Our next visit to Gatlinburg I'm definitely coming back.

This is my new favorite candy shop! I got to talk to the owner for quite a a bit because my boy was fascinated with the baseball cards! I loved hearing his story of owning the shop for over 30 years. The candy selection was amazing! My only disappointment was that I didn’t purchase more before leaving!

The owner was extremely friendly and happy to answer our questions, sharing a bit about his work at Glade's Homemade Candy. I chose the birthday cake-covered Oreos, and they were amazing! Next time I’m in Gatlinburg, I’ll definitely have to try something different.

You have a fantastic array of delectable homemade sweets, chocolates, fudge, and honey. The chocolate-covered toffee with sea salt was incredible. The shop owners were extremely friendly and helpful; they offered us fudge samples and even a complimentary gift. There are also other shops right next door featuring local artisans. I highly recommend stopping by if you're in the Gatlinburg area.

Love, Love, Love this shop! Fantastic local honey. We always purchase a gallon when we are in town. The older gent is so nice to chat with.
