Mad Dog's Creamery Donuts - Gatlinburg

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. I tried the ice cream and donut sandwich, opting for the recommended smoky mountain fudge ice cream stuffed inside a peanut butter devil's food donut. Both were absolutely delicious! My wife had a scoop of the strawberry cheesecake, which was also very tasty. Overall, it was a wonderful and delightful experience!

This is a fantastic ice cream and donut shop, offering a peaceful escape from the busy downtown Gatlinburg scene. There’s ample outdoor seating by the charming creek that flows behind the shop, making it a perfect spot to relax. They have a variety of delicious ice cream flavors and tasty donuts. The staff is friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend stopping by—10/10!

I absolutely loved this charming little spot! We had a craving for ice cream for dinner, and we were not disappointed at all! I tried the big dog funnel cake topped with strawberries and a scoop of blueberry cobbler ice cream, while my mom opted for a waffle cone with three scoops. They also have a display case filled with some delicious-looking donuts and fritters. It wasn’t the cheapest option, but every bite was worth it — everything was incredibly tasty, and they make the funnel cake fresh right when you order it. The strawberries were sweet and tasty, and the ice cream portion was generous! There’s also a dining room attached and outdoor seating for those warmer days. This place is way better than Baskin-Robbins or Marble Slab!

I stopped by here on Monday and got 6 donuts. Every single one was absolute perfection so I had to get another 6 for the road. Everything was fresh and they went above and beyond. The coconut cream donut is coated in coconut flakes, the blueberry has somuch flavor that it's blue inside and the devil's food and peanut butter is a perfect combination. I highly recommend.

They have maple bacon donuts. I love maple bacon donuts. All of their donuts are pretty good, but the maple bacon donuts are my favorite. Also they serve ice cream and have weird sundae/dessert ice cream combinations, like the cotton candy burrito. Thisplace is a must try place if you?re in Gatlinburg, even if it?s just to witness the horror of the ice cream abominations.
