Parton's Deli - Gatlinburg

I discovered this gem on Google, and I'm so glad I did! The food was outstanding, although there was just one employee preparing sandwiches and taking orders, which resulted in a bit of a wait. However, considering there was only one person working, it wasn't too bad. The prices are a bit on the higher side, but it's worth it for the fresh ingredients that are sliced daily. I ordered a turkey sandwich, and it was delicious, while my friend had a Reuben and said it was fantastic. This is definitely a charming little sandwich shop where you can grab a tasty deli-style sandwich!

This is the best Reuben I've ever tasted! The coleslaw and deviled eggs were fantastic as well. The fact that the sandwiches are steamed really takes everything to the next level. I wish I lived closer because I’d be visiting every day! This has to be the most authentic deli I've ever encountered; they just don’t make them like this anymore! Definitely skip the chain restaurants in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg and head here instead!

What a neat little find! We?ve been coming to Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge for nearly 20 years and have never been here. This building has been here owned by the same family since 1946!!! The deli has been open for nearly 50 years. The lady behind thedesk was very polite and so helpful. Asked if we were taking our subs for picnic and hooked us up bagged up our sandwiches andchips and made sure we had extra napkins. The sandwiches were warmed; didn?t realize that they would be, but they weretasty! All of the deviled eggs and potato salad are made in house. And the other couple in the store while we were there wasraving over the chili dogs. Apparently Parton?s Deli chili dogs are pretty well known and delicious! Tip: if you park in thepublic lot on the other side of Hillbilly Golf, the deli will validate your 75 cent/1 hour parking fee.

The sandwich was surprisingly delicious—simple but effective. The steaming made a big difference. The potato salad might be the best I've ever tasted. I didn't notice any bathrooms. Service could improve with a friendlier attitude.

Nice local deli that has been there since 1974. We had the Reuben and was very good.
