Mama Leone's Italian - Gaylord

I have to say one star because hubby said his broasted chicken was good (just good, not great). I ordered the lasagna, it was the worst lasagna I ever tasted. I returned it after just one bite. Hubby tried it too and said it was bad too. I ordered the chicken strips instead. They weren't good either. It tastes like fishken. Like it was fried in the same oil the fish was fried in. Never going back there. Service was great and waiter was great. Food wasn't his fault.

Best food in Gaylord it's like Mom's home cooking and I'm a traveling tree ape so I know where the best places to eat in northern Michigan are at and this is one of those places. Never disappointed always delicious. Cannolis are out of this world

The lasagna here is outstanding, and you absolutely have to try the chocolate lasagna dessert. It's generous in size, delicious, and very reasonably priced.

This place was absolutely amazing! I love the old, authentic vibe in the restaurant. Our seafood pasta, carbonara, and chicken Parmigiana were absolutely delicious! I also loved the lobster pizza and calamari appetizers!! The calamari was cooked perfectly, wasn’t chewy at all. Most authentic Italian food I have ever had. I cannot recommend this place enough! Their homemade Italian was great too. The portion sizes are huge, but if you still have room for dessert I also highly recommend the lemoncello cake!

We were passing through Gaylord and, being fans of Italian cuisine, decided to stop by this restaurant. The lobster pizza we ordered was absolutely delicious! The atmosphere was decent, though it wasn't particularly romantic. Overall, we'd be willing to give it another try.
