Lovely little pub well worth a visit. Parking: Great place for a trip out loads of parking. Kid-friendliness: There's a park at the rear. A bit worn but still good for the little ones. Food was nice. Very generous portions and looks like someone genuinely cares about their menu. Albeit it took a long time to come out. The staff on the other hand, miserable. The older woman was just plain rude. The young girl serving had zero customer service skills. It was a shame as it was our first time. Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3

Service a bit slow yet when soup arrived, it was not piping hot. Food not that good the chips looked like rubbish, some were pale some were shrivelled and almost black. The waitress said it is the way they are cooked. Not sure if she said twice cooked or thrice. Either way not good. Price per person: £40–50 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
