De Post - Geel

Came here for a birthday. They let me come early to decorate the table, very nice. No special stuff on the dessert of the birthday person, which was a shame, normally restaurants put a sparkler or something. One guest's main course arrived after everyone else had finished eating, he had to wait more than 30 minutes for his dish. They were obviously understaffed, the wait staff was frazzled, through no fault of their own. Got a lot of apologies from them, it was a shame because the food was good, but the atmosphere was kind of ruined because of it.

A bit pricy. meat was good but the fries were overbaked and the pepersaus was way too spicy.

Cozy place, the special fries were good, but way too many to eat them all. The cocktails were a bit too sweet in general. Friendly and entertaining staff.

Drinks are great but expensive a bit. Food is ok, portions size was big enough. Staff was courteous and sitting arrangement were good with nice view of church in geel centrum. Finding a Parking place for car is a bit tough on weekends.

I had a steak with small fries The steak was more well done than medium rare, fries to much for me and the sauce not my favour But the crew is quite friendly and the wine was good During the week it would be good if you book a table maybe same for weekend I was a little disappointed as I would had have a 2nd Glas wine, but the waitress takes me far to long so I decided to ask for the bill, 60€ meal, wine, water
