The View - Geiranger

We had dinner here and eating was so amazing! we ordered bark wange and pan meerrote cablejaufische from the main menu. the fish was so fresh and flocky, they can taste almost the sea. the bark was so tender and went so well with the potato and soft. all the elements came together to make it so wonderful. also the portion size is good. we were in room 308. the bed was very comfortable yesterday. there are very good quality heating in the toilet. this morning the breakfast was just as amazing! the warm food is so good. such a great spread! the breakfast buffet is like a 4- or 5-star hotel, certainly not like a 3 star hotel. they have fresh ginger shots, something I never had in a restaurant. who comes to geiranger fjord must stay here and eat!

Hotel Utsikten is possibly the only place to stay for a night or two in Geiranger. A more spectacular view does not exist anywhere. Add to it a charming hotel with a long history which is duly documented by old photographs in the corridors and rooms. Last but not least, you also have the opportunity to enjoy the view from your room and multiple small balconies around the hotel.

Beautiful view, topp service and delicious food, the room was a bit old fashioned and the bathroom was small but it all was very clean and functional, a long way from the harbour centre but a night with that very nice view was relaxing. Beautiful hotel with an amazing view. Easy access to hiking routes. Got wifi, good parking spaces, a good breakfast buffet, delicious dinner and very kind staff.
