Bidra med feedbackThere are a lot of places you here a lot of good things from and often you are disappointed about because they don't live up to the expectations, this is not the case with Bang Bang Burgers. I was with a group of people in Gelsenkirchen and this was our dinner plans and we were all very happy. The restaurant is cozy and the service is really nice. Some of the people in our group couldn't speak much German and the staff was kind enough to make the effort to speak to them in English. The menu is not big but the burgers on offer can be swapped for a veggie patty (two different kinds) or a chicken burger. In our group we had four different types of burgers, as well as four different sides and several dips, everyone was very happy with their burgers, fries and dips, though the quinoa salad was only okay, but with the high quality of everything else it was forgivable. The prices are comparable with other high-end burger place and the servings are very generous. All and all, if you are in the area, this place is more than worth a stop for the lovely atmosphere, great food and service.
Great food and staff were absolutely awesome. We got a pleadant greeting upon our arrival and they took our food order after they submitted the menu on time and the food came after 15 min we is usually the right for a perfect fresh burger to come.
Even though the hipster-themed restaurant is situated in a quiet area of Gelsenkirchen Altstadt, there is quite a lively, bustling ambience inside. There are a decent variety of gourmet burgers and all of them can be replaced with a tasty, restaurant-tailored vegetarian patty. They are probably the biggest burgers you'll see in Germany! It’s impossible to eat them with your hands; you have to use a knife and fork (so that soul-satisfying feeling of eating with your hands is unfortunately lost). The sweet potato chips were a highlight and they are delicious with the garlic dip.
Myself and a few friends found ourselves in Gelsenkirchen on a work trip. To escape the German winter we jumped into Bang Bang and within moments we realised we had stumbled across a gem.Run by the guys who put on Gelsen's best parties, the staff immediately made us feel like locals and talked us through the varied menu, which included a range of burgers, fries and salads. The homemade sauces are what sets this place apart though, the sweet BBQ sauce was incredible and tasted like nothing I'd had before. They've got some crazy mayo combinations too.You must try the locally brewed beer too. It was one of the best pints I've had in a long while - super smooth and no bitter after taste. It got me a bit woozy rather quickly too.In all, we had a cracking time and came back on our last night too.Cheers Bang Bang!
We stopped in for a couple of beers at night. They carry two beers from a local brewery GE-Bräu called Gebräu and Gesöff. They have outdoor seating, but it is a bit noisy right by the street.
