Bidra med feedbackMy experience at Harira was delightful. We arrived at 5:00, a time when other restaurants were just opening and had plenty of available tables. The host at Harira was welcoming and served us a scrumptious soup, tajine, and couscous. I highly recommend all of these dishes as they are not only tasty but also affordable compared to other restaurants in Ghent. The portions were generous as well! The only downside is that there is no picturesque view of a canal or landmarks. However, the charm of the old road where the restaurant is located more than makes up for it.
Despite the low rating, do not be fooled: many of the negative reviews are due to the fact that the restaurant does not serve alcohol. However, I must say that without alcohol, the food is absolutely delicious. I have tried couscous in many restaurants and this is by far the best I have had.
We ate here last week and it was really my favorite meal all week in Belgium. I had the chicken cousin and my wife had the vegetarian tajine, I would highly recommend both.
The first time in my life I eat Moroccan food and it's great! Good quality, fresh food and beautiful service. Woman touch is everywhere and I like it!
There are many options on the menu, with main dishes being reasonably priced. The meal was served promptly and my Tajine Kefta was delicious and satisfying. I was not aware that alcoholic drinks are not served, but this is mentioned on the menu. The wine is non-alcoholic and more like juice than wine. The service was very good, although the waitress forgot our bottle of water during a busy period - understandable as she was alone serving a full room.
