Ali, the owner and hostess, was absolutely perfect—constantly working yet wonderfully relaxed, always available to answer any questions or offer suggestions. The bedrooms were cozy and impeccably clean, featuring very comfortable beds and plenty of hot water for showers. The wedding ceremony took place on the property’s lawn, and Reid State Park, just a short drive from the inn, provided another picturesque setting for the bride and groom’s photo shoot prior to the ceremony. Stunning views, lovely accommodations, delicious food, and outstanding service! We needed to check in earlier than their stated time to attend a wedding, and they were incredibly accommodating. Despite Hurricane Lee approaching, which caused a power outage, they had a generator that kept the common areas and hallways lit, allowing us to enjoy warm showers. We were ready for Maine's worst weather, but were treated to some of the best views the state has to offer! Just minutes from Reid State Park and with an amazing oceanside porch, this Inn is a gem. We were so happy to stay for a special night at the end of season and enjoy delicious fare at Blue, the restaurant within the Inn. Our room (Five Islands) had an amazing view and was clean and well kept. I rated it 4/5 only because it was small that wasn't a problem given the lovely common areas inside and outside of the Inn. We recommend one of the turret rooms like ours the views of the ocean and nearby islands are amazing! The innkeepers and staff are both professional and gracious they were wonderful hosts. Nearby activities: The beaches and other walking areas at Reid State Park are wonderful all times of year. If you are a birder you'll find lots of good spots, both fresh and saltwater, to explore. Food drinks: Their restaurant, Blue, was a great find, given that there are few other places to dine on the peninsula, particularly outside the summer season.
