Bidra med feedbackA very pretty little diner. Great food, good service and reasonable prices. (Get the hot cedar it is amazing) and you can get half a part for the kids.
Awesome little hometown restaurant. Friendly staff and great food. Saw some iffy reviews but considering they were right after everything was opening up I took that into consideration. Alot of businesses were stressed out from being closed. I'd go back but we were visiting RMNP for the week and we live 4 states away. Try it, you'll like it.
I had an afternoon craving for a hike and stopped by for a bite around 2:00 PM, and it was still quite busy. My friend and I each ordered from the breakfast and lunch menus. I tried a breakfast dish, which had a fantastic texture and consistency, and the bacon was cooked perfectly! The coffee was also great, even in the afternoon. It was definitely worth the stop, and I would love to enjoy the terrace if I had the chance.
The only minor downside was that the restrooms could use more lighting and some updates, but they were clean and well-maintained. There's parking right across the street, and the restaurant is situated in a picturesque historic downtown area that looks straight out of a movie. If you’re in the vicinity, I highly recommend stopping by and exploring the nearby shops and buildings. I can't wait to return!
The food was delicious and the atmosphere was charming. Prices were reasonable. However, there was only one server and a cook during a busy time. My server was incredibly friendly, managing everything from seating to cleaning and handling payments. While some customers were pleasant, others were quite rude. It's important to appreciate the hardworking staff who show up every day and not contribute to any negative stereotypes about city residents. Remember to tip well and be patient.
