Wang Lai Restaurant - Gerolstein

I had the lunch buffet for € 7.99 per person ( drinks are not included), so we order jasmine tea (€2.80). The buffet spread is not a lot but the taste is really good. For the price €7.99 you can have chicken, fish, duck, beef, stir fry veggies, spring rolls, fried noodles and fried rice (also normal rice), fried banana, salad, peking soup, salad, ice cream. They refill the food quite fast too. So I can say it's a great value. A faded Chinese restaurant in the German style. Bland food. Limited and tired buffet. Heavily accented staff difficult to understand in any language.

After two weeks of hiking in the Eifel we were looking for something other than German pub food and pizza. Based on the reviews and proximity we decided to check out this Asian fusion restaurant in Gerolstein. We were not disappointed - in fact, we were so impressed we went there both nights we were in the town! The service is good, but more importantly, the food is excellent - probably the best East Asian food I've had in Germany. Highly recommended.

A great Asian restaurant with delicious food!!! The selection you have is very extensive and of a good quality!!! I prefer the lobster cloves in an excellent Thai-Curry sauce!!! A real poem!!!
