Mons Calpe Suite - Gibraltar

While my friends were busy exploring with the monkeys, I opted to relax and grab a drink at the Mons Calpe Suite, the only dining venue on the Rock of Gibraltar. The staff was friendly, the beer was cold, and the view was stunning. It’s a lovely spot to unwind, but I recommend not attempting to hike back down the Rock of Gibraltar unless you're fit and wearing the right footwear. My friends climbed down, while I took the gondola back. They returned with tales of adventure, scraps, and bubbles, along with legendary stories of their mountaineering exploits.

I visited this restaurant with my father during our vacation last week. We were seated just a few minutes after arriving with our reservation, and the staff were very accommodating. I ordered the lasagna and it was one of the best I’ve ever had. The atmosphere was lovely, and the music was incredibly soothing.

The restaurant is impressive right at the top of the rock, with magnificent views all around. Food was excellent, and very good value considering the cable car trip is included with your reservation! The fried bridesmaid was a generous part and super tasty, even the salmon Cajun was big and so delicious. It felt like a wonderful experience in Gibraltar!

Amazing views of Gibraltar and the rocks. Great food, they only open for breakfast and lunch and the kitchen closes at 530. They also have a vegetarian and vegan menu that was great. I had a really good vegan beet root and Courgette Risotto.

We had a little bit of difficulty with our booking I was under the impression we had an afternoon tea booked but apparently not. We still got some yummy food and some foggy yet beautiful views with excellent service. We weren't given our return ticket for the way back down when we paid, but luckily the cable car guy let us on.
