Aura Restaurant - Gießen

I' ve been here for a dinner with my colleagues, about 20 people. The place is quite fancy, I'd would suggest it for the first date for example. However the price are in range with the other restaurant in the city, maybe just slightly higher. We had some starters, than different type of meat. I found everything quite good, especially the dessert.

The first time i visited the restaurant 18 month ago. Since then the restaurant developed to my favorite in Giessen. The owner invested a lot and improved the ambience, menu and team extraordinarily well. It is next to the title river Lahn, has a garden, winter-garden and a beautiful restaurant. Its nice to see how little and easy things change the atmosphereThe menu is very good, it changes from time to time. Its not cheap.

We visited this place again at the weekend after a previous visit a few weeks ago. Sat outside in the lovely river-side location, excellent service with truly friendly staff, food is delicious, fast delivery, reasonable prices. Nothing to fault this restaurant and it's always been buzzing with customers.

Have not been to this restaurant for over three years , but wanted to go after the renovation and name change.So I decided before my next night out, there to eat .I must say however that the interior decoration is beautiful and the location is awesome,it came with very bad atmosphere .The food was cafeteria quality with gourmet presentation .We had two wines and they were fabulous and a Cappuccino that was very good(maybe the only reason to visit that place again).I could divide the staff into two groups,the kind on the one hand(in this group is just the waiter with the full beard)and on the other the immodest/snobbish(the rest of the staff).a very bad copy of the neighboring restaurantHad still my fun,if you have good friends at the table.

I loved every single thing about this restaurant. Located on the bank of beautiful river Lahn. The food is both beautiful to look at, wonderful to smell and incredible to taste. The service was amazing and the attention to detail was fantastic. What you get is the most wonderful evening with stunning food. A must visit ! :)
