Dach-Cafe - Gießen

Für den Preis ist meiner Meinung nach wirklich mehr zu erwarten. Tolle Aussicht ist dort natürlich, aber sowohl beim Frühstücksteil als auch beim Mittagessen war sowohl ich, als auch mein Partner sehr enttäuscht. Das Frühstücksbüffet hatte sehr wenig Auswahl, es gab nur Brötchen, eine Wurst- und Käseplatte und Eier. Das Mittagessen entsprach auch nicht ganz unserem Geschmack.

We sat up on the roof, Wow! What a beautiful view. The Food was very tasty. The service was extremely disappointing! Probably some of the worst service I have ever had. The wait staff and bartender were entirely unenthusiastic and disengaged. They pointed guests to the menus instead of bringing them to the table. We gave up on having water or another round of cocktails with our meal. When we were ready for the check we had to wait, it was almost impossible to get anyone's attention ~ we were not the only table begging for the check ~ there were 3 others. The staff kept themselves busy having a bite to eat, smoking and chatting among themselves. We come to Giessen frequently and often bring guests. I would be embarrassed to bring guest here.

If you love good food but waiting days to get it and weeks to get the bill this is the place to go. I watch the staff on the Skybar spend most of the night eating and drinking instead of taking care of anybody. Which was second only to the amount of smoking they felt was necessary. The staff actually sent people downstairs to get drinks because they were ordering food.We often bring large groups for business purposes to this place. The based on how they serve individual groups I would highly recommend to avoid this place. I've never seen a group less concerned and rudeness.The only redeeming factor is the food quality is good.

Eigentlich bin ich nicht dieser Schlag Mensch, der sofort seine Meinung ins Netz schreibt. Nur dieses Mal hatte ich die volle Kanne bekommen: als Tagesgericht Nackensteak. Liebe CHEFS des Hauses geben Sie bitte eine bessere Qualität Ihren Gästen- die bezahlen auch dafür!

Haben knapp eine Stunde auf unsere Cocktails gewartet, erst auf Nachfrage haben wir Sie bekommen. Waren dann auch noch nicht die, die wir bestellt hatten, alkoholisch und nicht alkoholisch wurde auch verwechselt. Vom Servicepersonal gab es nur eine beiläufige Entschuldigung. Die Musik hat sich auch in regelmäßigen Abständen abgeschaltet. Und das für die Preisklasse.
