Bidra med feedbackCoffee and food is great , however it is way overpriced for what you get. I understand it’s Gigharbor but it’s ridiculous. I can go to Starbucks and it’s cheaper and I live in North Tacoma and go to a private little shop and get a lotus 32 ounce and pay 7.00 . Today I went to Davenport paid $7.40 for a 20 ounce . I love Davenport because it’s walking distance at my job however I won’t pay $8 to 10 bucks for an Iced latte or Lotus .
I've been here 2 times. Both times the food was good and so was their coffee drinks.Food: 5/5
I stopped in for a coffee and to use the wifi so I could have a phone meeting with my business partner. This was a great spot. Popular too! When I came in it was fairly quiet but within 15 minutes the place was bustling. I didn’t try the food but they had a variety of options. I would definitely return.Parking: Lucked out and got a spot right in front of the door. There is a lot of parking but there are a lot of businesses and an apartment complex so I can see that it might get tight.
I visited the Davenport on a Sunday mid day. The atmosphere was simple, CLEAN and cozy. The counter area was slightly crowded. I ordered an Americano. I was disappointed that 20 oz was the largest size coffee. I was hoping for my drink to last the rest of my day at work. The coffee was, in my opinion, weak. Not a whole lot of flavor. The Avacado toast had a lot of flavor. Downside, I can't really say it was toast. I would call it bread. Suggestion: ask the customer how they like their toast. $8.99 was a bit pricey for one peice of soggy Avacado bread. Last suggestion. I know they work hard, but the staff should smile.
This light breakfast was delicious. The avocado toast was so fresh. The perfectly toasted bread, the fresh avocado spread and the perfectly cut egg. 10/10. Perfect place if you want to stop and grab a quick bite to eat. The workers are extremely helpful. The Vanilla Breve was so good. The best breve I've ever had. Quality syrups and quality coffee.
