Halftime Sports Saloon - Gig Harbor

The Halftime is nothing special physically, but it is reminiscent of 1000s of town local bars where you can have cheap beer and fun, eating fried bar food (good nachos) occasional live music, pool, golden tee, trivia video games etc...its a homey local staple of Gig Harbor where the real people go.

I know the owners and they run a tight ship.This is a place where you can go an play some pool, maybe do some karaoke or even have a trivia night.The only think I have not been able to talk him into is having live music again.Don't get me wrong, I understand his reasoning and it's valid, but sometimes I just want to listen to some live music.The Staff are amazing and most of the people are really great people but just like any other Saloon, you gonna have that one person to have to much of something and act a fool.Trust me that get taken care of real quick.If you think you might act a fool, this is not the place to visit.Ok Y'all in closing I give this place a big thumbs up for many reasons.

Good **** mary, handmade. Nice big pool tables. The Chicken Cordon balls are sponge chicken, the loaded spuds were decent. Me and my brother played pool there for 3 hours and we were the only ones forking out for the music. (Its kind of a sports bar, kind of a pool bar. Only thing is it gets hot in the back by the pool tables...at least put a fan on! We had to keep going outside to get fresh air it was so warm.

It’s a sad place with sad people. If you’re looking to play pool with a bunch of drunk regulars, it’s the place to go.
