Bidra med feedbackFirst of all, I was surprised to find Indian food out in the nowhere in this desert! Ordered chicken biriyani and one of the best, I have ever had!! Very authentic Indian (Punjabi style, the yogurt (raita was awesome as well.On a side note, sometimes I feel that Sikhs are so nice people in the world : humble, polite, very very hard working and that is why they survive anywhere in the world!!
This place was recommended by an Indian friend so I knew it must be authentic. I drove close to 35 mins to get here and we had to wait a while to get a table. There's only 2-4 tables inside and I noticed the majority of orders were takeout. I must say the wait was well worth it. I will say this was the best Indian food I've had in Phoenix. I ordered the chicken tikka masala and the sauce was so rich and flavorful. I ordered it medium spicy and it was just what I needed. Regular naan and garlic naan were both delicious. Sima was really friendly and I love supporting local businesses like hers. I can't wait to go back.
This might be my new favorite Indian restaurant in the Valley. The staff were very friendly, the food is delicious, and there was enough that we even had leftovers which doesn't usually occur. I had the chicken makhani and it was the perfect level of spice and flavor. We also had the onion bhaji and naan and they were both great companions to the main dish. I'll definitely be putting this into the rotation.
Delicious and reasonably priced!I had a girl's night out at Flavors of India and loved loved loved the food and Mango Lassi. We started out the evening with a round of samosas which really hit the spot for me. They were a generous size! Then we each ordered our main dishes. For 4 ladies, the server was able to make a recommendation on how many sides of rice to order and she was spot on. I ordered the Chicken Tiki Masala which was delicious and just the right amount of spicy. I ended up loving the Paneer Masala that my friend ordered even more! Plus you can not go wrong with the Garlic Naan. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Space is limited at this restaurant. It has 4 tables total! Mostly a takeout kind of place. Don't expect frills but definitely check this place out for some good grub!
The staff are wonderful, and make you feel like family. The food is AMAZING. The highlight for us is the peshwari naan, a bread filled with a sweet filling. The food is served in small pots for easy sharing. Try EVERYTHING, it's all good!Food: 5/5
