Bread Butter Bistro - Gilmer

We started with a bowl of the Tuscan Tortellini soup, which was perfectly seasoned and absolutely delicious. I ordered the Mexican BLT, accompanied by a side of pasta salad. The sandwich and egg were wonderfully seasoned—definitely not the typical store-bought egg. My wife chose the Chipotle Lime Flatbread, which was also fantastic and comes highly recommended. Overall, this was one of the best lunches we've had in quite some time. Thank you all so much!

Food was good but the wait staff was ehh. After sitting down and getting our water, it took 20 minutes for our waitress to come back to take our order, only to find out they were out of what I wanted. I ordered something else and waited another 20 minutes for the food to come out- no biggie.Food comes out with no silverware, the waitress said she’d be right back, but after almost 10 minutes of waiting (and getting up to collect my own silverware) my flatbread was now soggy. We watched as two customers bussed their own tables so they could sit down. I’m sure it was an off day but it is off putting. Wait staff either needs more help or more training on how to juggle multitasking.

We ordered catering for one of our business meetings and the food arrived on time, hot, and DELICIOUS! Everything was a huge hit with our team. THANK YOU for wonderful food and service. We love Bread and Butter Bistro!

The food here is fantastic! The portion sizes are generous, and the flavors are remarkable. I will definitely be coming back!

The atmosphere is wonderful, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. The service was excellent, and the food was delicious. The portion sizes were just right. I met a friend for lunch yesterday, and it was a very enjoyable experience. I'll definitely return the next time I'm in Gilmer.
