El Charrito Market - Gilroy

This place is a total jewel north of the city of gilroy, I have included a photo of the menu, but they also have a certain vegan menu that they receive on request for them. they are also very accommodating when it comes to gluten sensitivity (all we have ordered was gf/v: potato enchiladas with tasty red sauce potato tabine, tofu-erggie scrambble, plantains for dessert, freshly pressed abl.) ask for extra red soße, it was good with the fool. all the staff were so helpful and friendly, we will definitely turn on again when we make the trip to sf. updated by previous review on 2021-12-22

Small restaurant on the right with small market on the left, they have a vegan and vegetarian friendly menu you just have to ask for it. They have vegan tamales but all orders with a 24 HR notice.

I ordered the potato enchiladas with red sauce and they were absolutely delicious! The plant-based menu offered a variety of choices. Although on the pricey side, the portion sizes were very satisfying.

Colorful Mexican market in downtown Gilroy with the restaurant in the back. Vegan menu was developed by the owner after he went vegan—vegan dishes are prepared in separate cookware. Enchiladas, beans, rice were all fantastic—fresh and home style. Kind people serving the food. Would recommend if you’re in the vicinity.

There are plenty of vegan dishes available at this cozy Mexican market. The Super-Bomben-Kartoffel-Tacos are truly amazing! Can't wait to come back soon!
