Epicures of Hyndland - Glasgow

We had a farewell dinner for our American friend at a stylish restaurant with delicious food and a quiet ambiance perfect for conversation. It turned out to be a perfect choice! The pork cheeks appetizer was amazing, and the squid ink linguini with vongole was also very good.

Consistently excellent as always. I adore this restaurant. The food is always beautifully presented and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful.

Excellent pre theatre menu in nice surroundings and well served

We had a good meal at the restaurant, but were disappointed to find out they did not have beer, only lager. My husband had to go without. When my sister and I ordered Southern Comfort, we were informed that they were out of stock. This was very disappointing and we found the lack of drink options to be poor.

Service was very slow, took 40 mins to bring the starters. Fish starter was fresh and nicely cooked but the prawn and avocado starter was quite tasteless. Regarding the mains the steak was not great and the 'chips ' were actually fries with a lot of salt not really my cup of tea.
