Great ambience and helpful, friendly waiting staff. We had the weekend treat menu. Starters were fine but there were little niggles with the main courses. Not enough to complain about though. The ordered 'medium rare ' rib eye steak was definitely closer to medium to well done, the bubble and squeak with the Lamb shank, was simply mashed potato ........ and the asparagus with the sea bass had been replaced by a few slices of courgette.
Just lovely, tasty food....unfortunately they had ran out of 1 part of main meal but immediately offered to do a deal on coffees/ sweets for the inconvenience, good service.
At the stables for Sunday dinner . Had been there at least 2 sunday s a m to our Sunday roast. When we arrived they had run out if all roasts. Seemingly they had tried ti call but no messages or missed calls . Asparagus with seabass was too hard to cut into! Carrots with the chicken pie were also not cooked. Food was cold. Chips with wagu burger were cold and returned to kitchen, came back undercooked.! So disappointed, infact si much so that have dine this review as really not a complainer.
4 elderly ladies doin lunch food was ecellent staff veryvery helpful no louds music so easy to chat the half portion of fish was much appreciated will definately be back
