South Central Kentucky Cultural Center Museum Of The Barrens

It was a delightful and informative place to visit. There were numerous exhibits to explore and engage with, and we truly enjoyed our time there. A few hours well spent! The staff was friendly and very helpful. I highly recommend taking the whole family to enjoy this experience.

I didn't even visit the museum, but we parked our large trailer there and ended up sitting in lawn chairs for a few hours. The staff was kind enough to let us use their restroom before closing, even though we weren’t paying customers. They really showed compassion for people in a tough situation. Thank you so much for your help today!

Absolutely fantastic FREE Museum (with donations very encouraged And exactly so! with tons of history in it. There are two floors with displays in them, the first is a little older, but the second floor is where this place really seems. The layout and presentation are beautiful. If you drive through Glasgow and need a place to go a few hours, this is your goal.

Glasgow has a real treasure in this place. The staff, volunteers and community have gone above and beyond to preserve the history and heritage of their home. Now anyone can take a trip to the past and experience what makes a community.
