Little Devil Cakes & Bakery - GLEBE

Still think this place makes one of the best Vietnamese rolls in town. Crispy roll, tender chicken, just enough pate, spring onions, salad and sauce - can't go wrong. And so cheap!

Their cake slices are $3.40 each but are very average. I tried the marble cake, which was quite dry, plain and had a thick layer of sweet icing. Their banana cake was nicer - flavourful but very sweet. Don't think I'd come here again. Pork rolls are ~$5.30 and they sell a range of rolls with different fillings.

Five stars simply for the bánh mi. The pork ones are great, the egg ones are vegetarian and even better.

Call me slow, but I only found this place after raving about Roll Cafe around the corner.

I don't suppose Little Devil will charm and allure you from the outsideIn fact, I wouldn't judge you if you had quite the opposite reaction.
