The View Grill - Glen Cove

I have gedimt three times in the last two weeks in The View Grill, each time bringing three different friends with me to introduce them to this wonderful place. The food is excellent, the servers are so friendly and personal, and we were delighted to meet cooking owners Jeanine. The view is breathtaking. Even the dishes are nice. Every time, other diners engaged us in the room, added to the delightful experience. I can't wait to return. Simple trip, huge parking - only a great experience every time. Attended birthday party in a private room. With 30 guests food arrived hot, bacon crispy. Salmon moist, delicious sauce. But kudos to the attentive, kind, thoughtful staff. They couldn?t have been nicer. One waitstaffer saw me wrapping cookies in a paper napkin. ?0h no,? she said.? ?I?ll get you some foil!? At another point she arrived with take home containers when she saw the need. Will definitely return for dinner. Relaxed and low key. Very enjoyable.

My fiance and I hosted a pre-wedding get-together for about 90 guests at the View Grill this past weekend and everything was absolutely perfect! We worked with Fred leading up to the day and he was always helpful and very responsive. He was also extremely flexible as we had to postpone twice due to COVID. He let us personalize the event to our needs (e.g., bringing in lawn games, inviting a guitarist, setting up centerpieces) and charged us only for the guests who actually arrived on the day. The food was delicious, the view was beautiful, and the waitstaff/bartender were friendly and attentive. We highly recommend the View Grill!!

The actual view was outstanding, but secondary to the food and ambiance. The fish dishes were some of the best we had. The pricing was extremely reasonable. Chef Jeannine came over to introduce herself, and she made us feel very welcome. Definitely coming back.

The absolute best !! We celebrated my mother's birthday, and it couldn't have been any better. When I first called to make the reservation, the woman that answered the phone (I think her name was Cathy) was so sweet and accommodating. My dad is in a wheelchair, and she made sure our table was perfect for him. We were a party of 10. The waiter Eddie was attentive and so helpful with everything and anything we needed. We had a Sunday afternoon brunch menu and the food was amazing, as usual Jeanine outdid herself. If you've never been here , The View Grill is an absolute gem tucked away on a beautiful golf course overlooking the Long Island Sound. Can't wait to go back !!!!
