All the usual café foods, and licenced to sell alcohol. But the place is dirty, really dirty. The toilets - sorry to use this word - stink. Install ventilation or a fan!The floors have rubbish on them and the skirting boards have gathered so much dust you can actually see it! The toilets (bowls) are revolting. No one cleans them.Wondering what the kitchen looks like if the 'public' areas of the café look like that ...
I took my kids here after our initial choice was closed. I had had coffee here before, which was amazing but never tried the food. The menu was so unique and offered so many different choices and they had a Cuban kids section -so cute!!! I had the lamb Pita which was the most tender, delicious lamb I have ever had!!! My kids even raved about it and kept stealing pieces! My girl had calamari and chips, it was lightly fried and chips were yummy and gluten free. My boy had chicken (grilled) strips & chips which he loved!Kids meals very reasonably priced and great service. Insane milkshake/thickshake menu. A true find and so kid friendly!! Glad our first choice was closed!! We will definitely be back very soon!
We arrived for an early dinner to find there was only one other couple in the cafe, so had no problems about where to sit. Menu had plenty of choice for a place this size. We chose chicken salad and chicken parma, both meals were very generously proportioned, well presented and extremely palatable. Service was attentive without being obtrusive and the price of the meals was very reasonable. I would have graded this "excellent" except for the wine, $9 for what appeared to be a 200 ml serve of a very pedestrian shiraz was not ideal. Nonetheless, a very good dining experience at a very affordable price.
We went for a family dinner looking forward to our normal above average meal. Unfortunately due to bad management and a new waitress who really had no idea it was an average night on all accounts. Ordered a cocktail only to be told 15 minutes later that they had no vodka to make it, suggested gin....I tried it but it was terrible so I sent it back and asked for a glass of red wine....a $10 glass of red came and was so hot they suggested I put ice cubes in it! I asked for a little extra feta cheese to go with my less than fabulous lamb risotto and they tried to charge me $3 for example tiny cubes. They also tried to charge us for the botched cocktail. Was all sorted with much apology from the lovely staff but the management needs a good hard look at the way they do business....too much competition in the area
Read a few mixed reviews about this place but decided to go anyway and glad I did. I got the B.L.A.T and it was amazing. Coffee that came with it was one of the best I've had in Melbourne. Would definitely recommend and will be back
