This is an authentic small French restaurant with warm wood paneling. We have been there many times in recent years and have never been disappointed with the food. The duck is especially delicious making this definitely our go-to place for French cuisine and atmosphere.

Back in Melbourne and thought that instead of dinner we would have lunch at what has become a favourite. The seafood soup was as good as ever and equally fine was the barramundi mains. We added green beans cooked in garlic to the set price menu. The chocolate mousse with orange marmalade was pure indulgence. With two house wines each the bill was just under $100. In Melbourne this is probably a good deal.

A true Parisian restaurant in Melbourne. Great menu, service and prices are reasonable. I have been back many times and will continue to do so.

Whilst French cuisine is not usually a choice for me, I was pleasantly surprised. This was a dinner with golfing buddies and one of them chose Chez Olivier. I had a tasty entre of cheeses in filo with some salad and an even more tasty main of barramundi fillet. Although the main was small in size it was delicious. The other guys were also very happy with their choices. A few beers and some reds washed it down very nicely. It is a cosy venue and the staff were very good. Now I know another possible restaurant to take the bride for a romantic dinner.
