Bidra med feedbackIf you are looking for great value for money this is the place to go, and try gujrati thali's option and eat as much as you can...... tried rajwadi, kathyawadi thalis and all are equally good, taste is ok, unless your taste bud crave for spicy & oily food then you might not enjoy. Small gathering and for quick bite it is good place, though not for fine dining. Bit congested place so will not suggest for little ones.
We have dined a couple of times before where we ordered from the indo-chinese & chaat menu but did not find that it was to our liking. I have punjabi tastebuds so the gujarati style did not suit me. However, we were always intrigued by the thalis and were certain that that would be their strength. Last night I had the gujarati thali, which was served in the ideal way, however, The salad was cold and did not look fresh at allThe kadhi, 3 sabzis were all cold and did not have a punch. The most tasty item in the thali was the sabudhana tikki. Yum!This restaurant has potential if they serve warm food and as fresh as possible. The idea of serving the roti/thepla fresh and hot is ideal. Their service was lovely. We will not be returning any time soon.
We were a bit confused by the menu... we had never been anywhere like this before. Most of us played it safe with the thali which was fantastic. We also tried samosas which were beautiful ...they are huge. My husband ordered off the chaat menu and was bit surprised by what turned up. Both dishes were cold and quite sweet. He liked them but could only eat a little bit of each. We will be back but might ask for help next time.
I've dined here on two occasions now - the first time was very impressive: service was excellent, food and flavours were authentic and it was an overall fun experience. This encouraged us to visit again and unfortunately it was quite a different experience from our first: the food wasn't fresh and the service was slow. Regarding recommendations: it's definitely a place I will advise others of, given the uniqueness of the 'thaali' concept, however I also highlight that the service and quality may be hit & miss.
Had the worst experience, unprofessional staff. Waste of money and time. Takes ages to get one dish. Won't go again.
