Bidra med feedbackUnfortunately I was disappointed with this café. The coffee was warm, the waitress couldn’t understand English and therefore could not answer questions regarding the menu. When I asked for an omelette, a basic breakfast item, so I thought, she didn’t understand what I was saying. I had to go up to the counter and speak to someone who could understand me. The omelette came out with the 3 ingredients that I asked for; mushrooms, cheese and ham, however layered with the egg wrapped around them on the outside, not cooked within the egg. When the chef doesn’t know what or how to make a basic omelette, that says something. Move on there are better places for breaky in Ormond and surroundings.
This place drew my attention of the unique name and unique menu item names (and the good rating on Trip Advisor). It was a bit of a drive from where I live and as such was quite hungry when we arrived.Coffee order was taken straight away and as other reviews mention; the coffee art is wonderful (see pic). The coffee itself was smooth and of medium strength. The milk was perfect.Now... the food. The menu had a good selection of All Day Breakfast and Lunch (menu attached) and I wasn't sure what to go with. The two meals chosen were: Lets Avocuddle and I don't mean to Pesto you. Both were absolutely delicious - I preferred the pesto, however, the smoothness of the avocado and the bite of the goats cheese was sublime! The cafe has a dozen or so tables inside and about half a dozen outside (in an arcade). It's a relaxed atmosphere where the service is attentive without being too in your face.I travelled 15km to get here and I'm glad I did - This is a place I will definitely come back to.Now it's your turn to give it a try and experience what I did.Service. 4/5Atmosphere. 4/5Coffee. 5/5Food. 5/5Value for money. 5/5Parking. 4/5 (street parking and a car park approximately a 5min walk)Total 27/30
We moved into the area a month back and we have tried all the local cafes. Without doubt this is the best, not only because the Barristas really know their craft but because they are friendly and welcoming. Good great too. Highly recommended.
Food was quite good, not outstanding. Atmosphere was not great, the outdoor area is not outdoor but in a dated arcade.
We met with friends and their two toddlers for Sunday brunch. The staff were friendly and overly accommodating of the kids. They had high chairs, books and coloring items ready to go. The menu has all your favourites, plus some more adventurous options. The names are all very creative. I had the "I don't mean to pesto you" - a great combination. Now, I don't drink coffee, but there's no denying that the latte art was quality.
