Bidra med feedbackAs the first customers, we had mixed experiences during our visit. Our waiter, Steven, was very attentive. However, when we asked the water server to refill our three iced teas, he approached our nearly empty glasses without acknowledging our request for fresh glasses, especially since one member of our party was dealing with a cold. I insisted on leaving my empty glass to receive a fresh one, but he assured me he would take care of it, which he didn't. I believe customer requests should be honored. On the positive side, the restaurant had nice decor, and the food was good, although the seafood options were a bit lacking. My wife ordered a special dish that was supposed to come with shrimp and scallops, but it only included one small shrimp and one small scallop. The appetizer portion was also quite small given the price.
I often have my reservations about Italian restaurants in the suburbs, as they can be hit or miss, but this one was a pleasant surprise. My wife and I stopped by while shopping and, after looking over the menu filled with homemade pasta, fresh bread, and specialties, we decided to stay. The owner and his family were very attentive, and the food was outstanding. We're planning to return for the traditional 7-fish dinner on Christmas Eve. It’s refreshing to find a high-quality restaurant among all the chain options, and they also have a BYOB policy.
My wife and I dined at the Grand Opening of this restaurant, and it is just what the area needed. The entire staff is a wonderful group of people, and we wish them great success. The dishes we ordered were fantastic, especially the Chicken Momma Porkcho Parm. The sauce on the pasta was one of the best we've ever tasted. I can't wait to try another amazing dish. This is the highest compliment I can give to a restaurant—the eagerness to return as soon as possible. Our thanks to the entire staff for a lovely evening.
