Dolce Vino Wine - Glendale

A nice Italian restaurant in a not so nice neighborhood, quiet, intimate, romantic, good service, good food but not great food, chicken parmigiano was a little bland, tried lemon cake for dessert, it was tasty but a little dry, server was great, attentive but not intrusive, prices are fair at $20-$35 per person for appetizers, entree, and dessert with wine, good place to visit if an independent Italian restaurant is your thing. 4 stars and recommended.

I have been a huge fan of this place for years! I have brought many dates and friends here.It was always a great environment with true authentic Italian made food.. this last visit seemed like they completely lost motivation started cutting corners and stopped caring about their foodI got the chefs special... lambThere was no colorThe only juice it had was all the oilIt was smothered with rosemary to hide the fact the lamb was so old it already cooked itselfI can't believe they fell so low.

The calamari came in thick chunks which I have never seen before. Server was pleasant the food tasted microwaved if your looking for possibly the most disgusting food ever this is the place we order chicken parmesian gnocchi they were both disgusting should have known better empty on a Friday just go to olive garden its not real italiano but Dolce Vino the chef is a microwave.

Amazing food, great service. Honestly the best calamari I've ever had; super fresh and flavorful. Coming back again to try the rest of the menu.Update...I've had 3 different tiramisus and they are so delicious I have no pics. BEST calamari ever. Every thing we have tried is amazing. The bread is cooked fresh every morning.

Had another fantastic time at this wonderful location. I went with my girlfriend, and Ernesto was a fantastic host! Not only did he give me a free sample of a new wine, but he also let me know I could purchace a bottle and get more wine than if I just purchaced two glasses! Wonderful, flavorful food and perfectly done. The desert we ordered was also amazing! 5 stars all around!
