Was looking for a local sushi ? spot with a happy hour (4-7) that didn't end at 6 p.m. when I'm finally off work. As luck would have it there was a place named Sushi Joint, about 2 miles from my home, with a happy hour that ended at 7 p.m. Its tucked away in a strip mall, with a few other restaurant choices, massage/nail spa, a laundromat, ample parking when we arrived 6pm. Walked in saw that it was clean and roomy. We were greeted and sat right away at the sushi bar per our request. They were quick to bring us menus and take our drink order. After checking out the a happy hour specials and looking at the menu we ordered some beers ? HH cut hand rolls. I got to say the food was really good. The wife commented more than a couple of times how fresh the sushi was, how soft and buttery it just melted in her mouth ?. Prices were good too, even off-happy hour. Large selection of rolls and a good variety of fish. Large party trays are available. You can call ahead and pick up your order as we saw many people do. I will be back for more samplings of various items! Great find.

Wow what can I say, so far one of the best sushi joint I have ever been to. Ordered 8 rolls without even knowing what's what and all of them were phenomenal. Will go there over and over.

This was my second time going to the Sushi Joint. I really liked it... I went in the middle of their lunchtime rush the first time and just before closing the second time. They were consistently good on both of my visits. I plan on eating at the Sushi Joint again, the next time I'm in Glendale.

Really fun atmosphere, the sushi chefs are great and the fish is really fresh! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a truly good sushi dinner experience.
