The 'Vegan Rustica Margherita' is a slightly better alternative to the classic style, in my opinion. During my most recent visit, I enjoyed the plain rustica pizza very much. However, on a previous visit, I ordered the classic style with garlic and caramelised onion and was disappointed. The garlic was whole and undercooked, and the onion was overpoweringly sweet, with too much of it on the pizza. I have not yet tried the vegan starters, but the new canzone dessert was delicious. The Zizzi restaurant in Cheltenham stands out as the best I've been to because of its unique setting in an old church, which creates a wonderful dining atmosphere.
The only reason to visit this restaurant is for the stunning converted church building. The staff are friendly and there is a separate menu for vegans. The vegan lasagne was delicious, though slightly salty.
Along with the vegan pizza range, there are pastas and salads, as well as starters and side dishes. The chocolate torte was delicious too and the restaurant itself (a converted church) was beautiful inside. All in love a lovely place for a meal.
The restaurant offers a clear vegan menu with delicious fresh pizza, pasta, and a vegan dessert. The staff is also friendly.
