Bacon Supreme - Göttingen

The building and the interior is very impressive. Not the service. Ordering online is fancy, but impersonal. Food is okay, but not more.

Food is very nice but the prices are way too high. The place is very well decorated, it is quite cozy with a sort of American touch. One of the waiters was very rude though. Although we were pointed to sit at one of the tables by a waitress, he came after and told us to get up . Perhaps his English wasn 't good enough I don 't know, but I didn 't like his attitude at all. He must stay on the back side and let the polite waitresses do their job.

The service was ok, even though somewhat indifferent and not particularly friendly. we ordered two dishes with camembert. there was definitely a large portion camembert, but that was the best of it. the pulled pork was very salty and the rippchen were boiled in a very boring sauce - it seems that they had just scattered some curry powder over it. I had a pils that tasted like the pipes had to be cleaned. not too impressed.

When we sat on the terrace of this magnificent medieval building in the city center, all the elements were available to prepare us a good time. the menu was attractive and rich despite relatiw high prices, the waiting period long enough to slowly use the ordered large beer. when the worm arrived, the disappointment was bitter. despite double-steak for 4€ the burger was above average. 11 pommes, no sauces, a cup with red cabbage topping. we were two and we both suffered the same fate. total: two hamburgers, two large and two small beers for 45 €. the menu and the service are chic, but the bill is not there.

Service and ambiente were very good. we had eaten burger . the rolls were a bit lazy, overall everything could have been a little more seasoned . altogether however a very good eating, the critique is at high level .
