On Saturday, March 25th, 2023, we took a drive along the Lariat Loop Scenic Byway and made a stop at the Buffalo Bill Cafe and the surrounding overlook areas. It was a beautifully cool day, although the wind added a bite to the chill. Despite that, we thoroughly enjoyed our time, especially at the cafe where I bought some postcards and wrote them to my family while savoring two cups of hot chocolate. We loved browsing the shop, relaxing, and sipping our warm drinks. We also took some scenic photographs before continuing on our drive. We highly recommend this experience—one of the highlights of our final day in Denver!

I waited nearly 45 minutes for a disappointing and overpriced burger. The staff were quite rude as well.

After we finished our meal, I asked to speak to the manager, only to discover that it was him. I expressed that everyone deserves to be treated with respect and that there was no reason for his behavior. His response was simply, “you can leave.” I do not recommend this place.

According to the younger employee at the souvenir shop, our experience was that the gift shop is mediocre and has a very poor attitude towards customers, including my family and extended family. They struggled to answer basic questions about payment, making the process unnecessarily lengthy and confusing.

What a fantastic gift shop! The staff is friendly, and there's a great selection of gifts to choose from. I do wish the chocolate lab would let me give him some pets!
