Riverhouse tavern - Golden

I travel to Golden often. This is now my 3rd visit to Riverhouse will be my last!! In the past we have waited upto 2 hours for food. Todays visit we were the 5-8 people to enter. There was a major event in the area they chose to not even open till 2pm. We waited for them to open…upon entry the waitress clearly stated that she was doing bar service only. I clearly told her we wanted food. After waiting 20mins…and getting out own beer we were informed it would be a 90 minute wait for food. We finished our beer left…never to return!! Me my local friends. Never been so disgusted by an establishment in my life. Three strikes you’re out! Previous visit we waited 2 hours for food, had a very rude waitress couldn’t believe the establishment couldn’t handle 5 ppl in the bar

Pizza was unreal and huge.. We had the bacon carbonera and the margerhita Ordered 2 for three of us and we were beyond stuffed. PBR ON TAP... WOWGreat service all around and the atmosphere is the perfect mix of small town and next door vibe..

Food is absolutely amazing!!!!!! Pizza is unreal here. Staff are super friendly. Love the outdoor patio.

An awesome little authentic ski town bar, offering great drinks and food, try their wood fired pizza and wash it down with a shaft!
