Jumonville's Bakery - Gonzales

All the ladies were friendly and attentive. Pastries and donuts are fresh and good. Roast beef poboy is really good with the gravy except could use alil' more meat even if they had to charge $2 more for it. I recommend the place to anyone.

I purchase a king cake, some scones and some raisin oatmeal cookies last Friday. Everything was excellent. The king cake was especially good. The icing was made with sour cream and was out of this world. My wife brought most of the king cake to work and it was devoured by her co-workers in less than 30 minutes. They were highly complimentary of the special brand of icing. If you're looking for a high quality, old fashioned baker, Jumonville's is the place to go.

I love the place. Everyone is so nice and the food is especially delicious. I went in today to get a quick coffee before school and the cashier helped an elderly woman with her seat. There's something you wouldn't see at a Starbucks. This place is way better.

Delicious pastries and wonderful, friendly service. Went in to purchase a King's cake... had no idea what they were since we're visiting from New Jersey. Will visit again!

Great pastries good prices friendly people I was slightly hesitant going in upon reading some of the negative reviews however I didn't find that the negative reviews accurately reflected the service or the food. I've been back several times and each time the food was good I waited purposefully before writing this review to see if it was a one-time thing I'm getting good food and get service however it was not a fluke definitely a good place to eat
