The Smoking Crab Seafood Co Gonzales Tx

Today is my first time to eat from this amazing place. The seasoning is spot on for Cajun food. I ordered the crab and shrimp plate. Everything was excellent.

Food is off and on, however need to give their employees a reminder to communicate how their to-go and call in orders work. I waited over an hour because the employee who took my order failed to mention that my food wouldn’t be made until it was paid for. : kind of defeated the purpose of a call in and wasted my time.

I give it a because we paid $33.00 for mostly watered down food . I do not recommend this place at all!

New to the area and thought we would give this place a try. 2 thumbs up for sure! The gentleman at the counter gave my husband and parents excellent recommendations. Honestly, I don't like seafood so I got the blackened chicken baked potato. The kitchen goofed and added shrimp. I ate it anways and the worst part was having to admit to my family that I actually liked it. It pains me to say it was delicious, I've spent my whole life hating seafood. My one removed star was due to the lack of utensils. Everyone (except me) got crab legs and no one had any kind of long stemmed fork, so it was hard to get all of the meat. Will remember to take our own for the next visit.
