Congrats on winning Nashville Scene's Best of Nashville 2023! You deserve it. I eat here regularly. Food is amazing. Staff is amazing. The place is amazing. Very clean. Food is cooked fresh. I love this place.

Great place! It's the real deal....authentic Chicago food. Haven't had anything that I haven't loved. Definitely recommend to anyone and everyone.

*UPDATE* In response to the owner that replied; This is absolutely NOT a fake review. You calling it a fake review just proves what kind of business you're running. You're calling me (a paying customer since you opened) a liar and I don't appreciate it. In your response you tell me to come in and you'll make it right, why didn't you all make it right when we were there instead of rolling your eyes? I'll tell you why; you're customer service is horrible. You want proof it's not a fake review? Tell me when I can call you (time and day you're available) and who to speak with and I will call. Again, I don't appreciate you calling me a liar and your negative response just shows other customers exactly who you are. In addition, your hotdogs were cold because they sat out while they were prepping the beefs. Our hotdogs sat in the prep area for a good 7 or 8 mins. So yes, they were cold. Oh, and no one was weighing anything the last time I was there because you all were so busy. If I could drop this this review to ZERO stars I would.J.This use to be my go to place, but the last 3 or 4 times Ive gone, it's been horrible. The recipe was changed on the beef I think, or maybe the meat is not as fresh? I don't know, but I won't try it again. All different employees, horrible customer service, food is not great. I definitely don't recommend them. Last time I was there we got 4 beefs with cheese and peppers and 2 hotdogs. All the bread for the beefs was stale and the meat ratio on each beef was different. One had hardly any meat and one had so much meat you couldn't bite into it. We have to use forks to distribute meat evenly for all 4 sandwich. The flavor/spices were also off, nothing like it use to be very bland. The hotdogs were not even warm. When I asked to speak with someone in charge they gave excuses and I told them we wouldn't be back. Guy just rolled his eyes and walked away. We threw out most of the food and left. The fries were hot and good, but everything else was horrible. Won't ever be back. So sad, because it use to be my favorite place.

Wouldn’t sit us because they closed in 15 minutes. Bunch of people eating in there but I guess the employees were in a hurry to get home or something. Closing at 8 on a Friday with the regular time taped over on the door? Rude experience. Was looking forward to it but won’t be back. If you’re open, be open.

I've been to the one in Gallatin and wasn't impressed (food and friendliness of staff was lacking). I heard the Goodlettsville location had a new owner, so I decided to give it another try. Glad I did. The food was outstanding. The place was spotless and the staff was super nice. I chatted with the new owner for like 30 minutes. They treated me like a regular. I had the Italian Beef. It was huge and as good, if not better, than the one I remember having in Chicago. If you like great food and great service....give this place a try. You won't regret it.
