Bidra med feedbackIt's great to see local bars springing up like this for the local residents to enjoy and this place is doing it well. Two sisters wine bar provides local wine and generally locivore style food at reasonable prices. I like to go there after work, especially on a Friday afternnoon when the sun is low in the sky. It's also great for a snack before or after a movie at the local Capri. If you wanna miss the busyness of King WIlliam Road, try Two Sisters. I think you will be pleasantly surprised.
Where do I start. Menu was lacklustre and food was clearly not fresh. I received a glass of bubbles, god only knows how long the bottle had been open for... When I received it and it was as flat as a tack and I asked for a replacement glass... I was refused and asked to pay for a second! Disgraceful.I found the venue extremely disappointing. Oh, I also had 3 strands of hair about 15cm long on my pizza too.
Visited two sisters food and wine with some friends on the weekend and it was an amazing experience where friends could catch up. A very melbourne bar feel to it with warn welcomes from Nicole and Will when entering. The cocktails that Will made were delicious and would recommend that you try some of his signature cocktails that he even invented!! The food was delightful as we had a lamb pizza and a taste of sa platter which made you feel apart of this perfect state. Great for a quiet drink that can easily turn into a cocktail session
Dropped in on a Sunday afternoon for a drink with a couple of mates. Nice venue. Just had wine and a lovely platter. Service is relaxed but helpful.
Visited two sisters for the second time tonight and again have to say I wasn't impressed. I really wanted to love this place because goodwood rd is crying out for a great wine bar, unfortunately two sisters misses the mark. I arrived tonight with two friends and it was not busy. I stood at the bar while the uber cool bartender served the people before me with a really ambivalent attitude. He was slow, aloof, and a tool. I waited at the bar for ten minutes. He was so disinterested it was almost comical. He then served me and I'm not joking it was like he was doing me a huge favour! It's not like the drinks were free, $10 per glass on average for wine. Which is totally fine when the waiting staff at least flick u a smile. Bottom line, I'm a local and I won't go back and I will tell my friends that it's not very good. Sad.
