Pelicans Landing Waterfront

I was really disappointed with the service at Pelicans Landing. They have good food, but the staff was unresponsive and seemed somewhat rude. There were only about 15 other patrons in the restaurant, so it wasn’t overly busy. I waited around 10 minutes for a soft drink refill and my check, which is far too long. The bartender on duty that night was particularly lacking. Overall, it was not worth the $36 I spent, and I left feeling frustrated with the poor customer service.

They no longer accept reservations, but I called to special request a table for my parents' anniversary. I told them they could choose any restaurant, but they insisted on going to Pelicans Landing. This establishment did not disappoint. They ensured a wonderful evening for my parents, providing excellent service, delicious food, and a great atmosphere. The setting is relaxed and casual, yet it still makes you feel like you're dining at a five-star steakhouse. My mother and I love going on Saturdays for the prime rib, which is always cooked to perfection and tastes fantastic!

The service was friendly and welcoming, and every dish we tried was absolutely delicious!

It's a wonderful place to eat if you're out on lake texoma, they let us bring our dogs in and eat on the back deck.

Went in to get the lunch special which they were out of at 1240pm so we got the catfish basket and shrimp basket. The catfish tasted like rubber and our French fries and onions rings were BURNT to a crisp !! Our waitresses vanished after taking our order but refilled our tea once where she sarcastically said .. must be a hole in your glasses!! Seriously, I refilled our tea for the rest of the pathetic lunch we had!! Talked to a lady who said she was the manager who didn’t seem to care about these issues who reports she just came on shift. Upcharged for onion rings and sweet potato fries which we were told it was an option which were so burnt they black. Sad that Pelicans quality and customer service had declined so drastically. We now refer to it as SHITICANS LANDING!! We chose this place for its lunch special where we could have went to Marshall’s Country Cooking, Catfish Haven and got better service and food !! Thanks SHITICANS for ruining our lunch and not even listening to our concerns !! I do believe I could have gotten frozen Gordon’s fish and shrimp from Tom Thumb and it would be better!!
