Lawler's - Gorey

The food at the takeaway is delicious, but prices have increased significantly over the past year or two, and the portion sizes are on the smaller side. The prices in-store have also risen sharply. As a result, we usually prefer to go into Kilmuckridge now instead.

The food is of high quality, featuring traditional dishes made from fresh ingredients. It is cooked and served very well. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Just a heads-up, though: be ready to wait! We had to wait for over an hour for our meal.

My family and I discovered Morriscastle Beach during a recent drive, and it has quickly become our favorite beach in Wexford. The beach itself is beautiful, and just a minute away is Lawlers, which features a takeaway shop (opening at 4 PM) and a small convenience store. Here, you can find some delightful sweet treats along with incredibly tasty ham and cheese melts or Mexican quesadillas—perfectly priced and sized for lunch. They also sell bodyboards and other beach gear. Outside, there’s a takeaway van offering drinks and ice cream. Additionally, there’s a fantastic little play area for kids right next to the takeaway shop, so you have everything you need in one compact space. All the staff we encountered were very friendly as well.

The girls in the shop were extremely helpful and friendly! Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the locality. Ice cream is 11/10 also

Been back quite a few times. Fresh, tasty and hot take away food. Pizzas are gorgeous aswell as usual range of chipper food. Have not been disappointed yet. Covid measures in place best to call your order ahead, extremely busy at the weekends. Still worth the wait!
