Golden Star - Gosport

I've been going to Golden Star for over 30 years, by far the best Chinese takeaway. My favourite is their Chicken curry,the sauce is absolutely amazing. The bbq spare ribs are a firm favourite of my husband.

Love this Chinese , very friendly staff , food is always tasty and hot. Golden Star always accommodate and do me an onion curry with egg fried rice and chips no peas curry triangles are very nice as well.

We had salt and pepper chicken, chiw mein, curry, chicken balls etc can’t daylt any of the food. Highly recommended

I went for King Prawn, Ginger Spring onion which was enjoyable, lots of spring onion, good portion of prawns not to much ginger. Husband went for chicken curry which he said was not hot enough for him. He also got some Crispy Salt Pepper Prawns, they were not crispy, they were really yum, hot. They also put in Vegetable Mini Spring Rolls, they were yum as well, crispy the vegetable were inside tasty.

Husband ordered for me Golden Star Chow Mein, I don't know how they manage to fit it all in the container, when you see what you get when you empty onto your plate. Lots of meat, not bad. Husband went for a chicken curry (he can be quite funny over his curries), he commented it was not too bad. Will give another visit
