The Lime Tree - Gosport

Have been getting more and more disappointed with this takeaway, and I've been using them for over 16 years. Had to wait AN HOUR AND FORTY FIVE minutes on Saturday. When i phoned and questioned where food was after an hour, i was told that collections get done before deliveries, so my order kept getting pushed back to accommodate others. Not good business practice!!! When food arrived, none of it was hot and the chips looked awful. Very sorry to say that will be the last time we use them.

The food lacked authenticity and was tasteless. The tandoori chicken tikka was artificially colored and tasted like oily onions, with no tandoori aroma or tikka flavor. The chicken tikka jalfrezi lacked the proper tikka seasoning and was mild instead of being hot as a jalfrezi should be. The meal was expensive and I believe I could cook a better version at home. I will not be ordering from this restaurant again.

Ordered a delivery with a promised delivery time of 45 60 minutes. Ended up being an hour late. When it finally arrived, the food was ... OK at best, poor in truth. Very bland might suit someone who's scared of trying something as exotic as Indian food. This used to be a good takeaway 10 years ago, but won't be trying again. What a shame.

Haven't ordered from here for a while. Did so online. Got a call to confirm my special request (was very pleased with that). Arrived quickly, but very disappointed with meals. Basically slop. Once we had dished them up, a load of watery liquid started rising to the surface. I ended up having to put my son's food through a sieve, excess shown on photo.

Hadn't ordered from here for years after a bad experience years ago. Since it has been taken over and got its hygiene back together, I can't fault it. The food is lovely, consistent in flavour and always hot :
