The Seahorse, Gosport

Good location, guinness was very good, service was attentive and food was good for typical pub grub. Good atmosphere for a Monday evening, a true locals pub supporting the community. Food was good, although a little on the slight side for a homemade burger and...chips. Well worth a visit if in the area.

We had a delightful Sunday lunch at the restaurant, with welcoming staff and efficient service despite the busyness. We will absolutely be coming back in the future.

Don't bother going there. They treat you really bad. We waited hours for our meal and they couldn't understand why we weren't happy. Because we left before getting our meal after waiting for hours we were told we were no longer welcome there.

We decided to try out the Seahorse for Sunday lunch and it was a delightful experience. The pork was especially delicious, with perfectly cooked vegetables, crispy crackling, and a Yorkshire pudding that was not just fluff. The highlight was definitely the proper gravy. The desserts did not quite meet the same standard as the mains, but were still edible. We look forward to returning again soon.

A very warm welcome and attentive service at our Christmas lunch today. A good choice of delicious food and a great ambience. Recommended.
